In Saturday’s games in the T-Ball division the Lil’ Yankees sponsored by the Amissville Ruritan Club defeated the Lil’ Orioles sponsored by Hackley’s Store, and the Lions sponsored by the Rappahannock Lions Club defeated the Cubs sponsored by Ray T. Cannon.
In the Minor League division the Dodgers sponsored by R.L. Rider and Co. defeated the Indians sponsored by David and Donna Sheffield 15-9. For the Dodgers Jacob Dodson had a double and two RBIs as did Kevin Burton. Joseph Davis had a two-run homer. For the Indians Karl Thornhill had two singles. Zachary Tamburello was the winning pitcher.
In the second game the Yankees, who still lack a sponsor, defeated the Braves sponsored by Howard and Lisa Swaim 16-8. No hitting information was available at press time but Alex Sharpe was the winning Ditcher.
