Ten teams in Rappahannock County are making plans to participate in the 1996 American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life, a fundraiser scheduled for May 31 and June 1 at Airlie in Fauquier County.
According to this year’s Relay Chairman, Ester Settle, there will be 10 teams participating from Rappahannock County. These include two repeat teams — The Gay Street Walkers which is composed of county employees, and The Brady Bunch from Flint Hill.
The new teams include: Amissville Baptist Walk-a-teers, Huntly Hoofers, Trinity Church team, Ruby Cannon Memorial team, Rappahannock Methodist Walkers, RCHS Bible Club team, Dorothy Butler’s team, and Rappahannock Community Walkers (Ester’s team composed of everybody
