Edward E. Clark Jr. of Waynesboro will speak at the “Friday at the Library” program on May 10 at 8 p.m. Mr. Clark is a co-founder of the Wildlife Center of Virginia, now the nation’s largest professionally staffed veterinary hospital for native wildlife.

Mr. Clark, the son of Peggy Clark of Flint Hill, has spoken here before, accompanied by some of the birds and animals his center rescues after injury or other problems. We will be welcoming home a much admired friend. He is now Director of Region 3 of the National Wildlife Federation on whose board he has served for 14 years.
