Cathy Lou and Carrington Smith wish to publicly express appreciation to their friends and neighbors for assisting them in returning a herd of cows back into the fields when the strong winds blew a gate open. They included Lewis Hackley, John Victor, Jack James, Wilbur Hartman and his sister-in-law, Debbie and nephew, Wayne, Perry Rudacille, Bill Holland, Curtis Stuart and his brother-in-laws Gary and Troy Smith.
The Hartland Cooking Class will be held at 7 p.m. tomorrow night, Thursday, may 2. Cost is $5 per class. There will be another one in this session on May 9. Hartland is located approximately 12 miles south of Culpeper off Route 15 toward Orange. Turn left onto Route 614 at the “Locust Dale” sign; go one mile to Hartland on the left. Classes are held in,the Wellness Center. For more details, call 672-3100 ext. 240.
