The WCDS Owls lacrosse team stretched its record to four wins and two losses in the past week with victories last Friday and Saturday.
On Friday the team defeated the Woodberry Forest JV B team 10-5. The Owls converted 31 shots on goal and strong second-half defense to gain the victory.
David Brandt led the WCDS scorers with four goals. WCDS goalie Tim Burke with 13 saves and defensemen Andrew Inglis led the tight defense.
However, the offensive play for the Owls has been the emerging story of the season according to Coach Fred Chandler who says he sees “good things in store for the rest of the season.”
