Prospective steeplechase horse owners will be hosted at a new Owners Box at the May 4 Gold Cup at Great Meadow.
In a move designed to encourage new owners in the sport, the new seated box area will provide hospitality and information about jump racing to those interested in becoming involved in5,the spQrt.
The new box overlooks the course near the Stewards Stand and will be staffed by race volunteers coordinated by National Steeplechase Association communications director Joe Clancy Jr. and Virginia horsewoman Emily Day. Guests are welcome.
