Roses are another example of the care garden centers and nurseries give to plants. Roses aarive at garden centers in refrigerated trucks. The temperature in the truck is carefully maintained at 55 F to protect the roses and prevent damage. Most garden centers place roses directly into the sales yard. Here, the roses are sorted, irrigated, and fertilized. Most roses remain in the garden center for approximately six weeks.
