The home of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Peregory on Castleton Ford Road was the settkig for a surprise party on Friday evening honoring Mrs. Peregory’s father, Shelvy Frazier, and his wife Montrue on their 15th wedding anniversary.
Mrs. Peregory baked and also cut the cake. Mr. Frazier’s sister, Mrs. Atkins served at the punch table with Mrs. Frazier’s children, Charles, Nancy and Ray assisting in the preparation of food.
Those coming with gifts and good wishes, totaling 43 guests, included Mrs. Lucille Peregory and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Peregory of Front Royal, Mrs. Dora Clatterbuck, Mrs. Madeline Holmes and Ms. Lisa Green and Ashley all of Amissville, Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Bragg, Kellie, Karla, Matthew and Mark, Mr. and Mrs. Jake Robinson and Timothy and Jackie Rutherford of Culpeper. Mrs. Alvin Atkins of Sperryville, Mr. and Mrs. Mac Arthur Pullen of Rixeyville, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Frazier Jr., Michele and Christopher of Boston, Misses Mary Tharp and Margie Williams, Ms. Juanita Grigsby, Ray Whorton, Mr. and Mrs. Buddy Grigsby, Crissy, Kevin and Jason, Jennifer Peregory, and Mr. and Mrs. Gregg Heflin, Michael, Crystal and Jacob, all of Castleton and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wharton of Woodville.
