On Friday, Oct. 12. at 8 p.m. , the Rappahannock Association for Arts and the Community. < RAAC1 opens its Second Friday at the Library Series with a program featuring both horticulturalist Kathenne Bull and photographer Richard Lykes., Mr. Lykes and Mrs. Bull team up to offer “Observations on Creating and Maintaining a Well-tended Garden", a virtual tour of Mrs. Bull's extensive and beautiful mountainside gardens, rendered through Lykes' images taken from many perspectives and seasons.
A consummate gardener for most of her life, Katherine Stark Bull will talk about how she planned her amazingly beautiful garden near Little Washington to complement the wooded, steep, rock-strewn landscape of her mountain home Mrs. Bull has been a professional gardener for years, in Georgetown and in Rappahannock, and is a board member of the American Horticultural Society.
