NSDAR will hold their Saturday, Oct. 13, meeting at the Culpeper Library. The meeting will start at 11 a.m. The program ’Lineage Research* will be presented by Mrs. Edna Metzinger. This is an important subject matter for those interested in membership in the Daughters of the American Revolution. We invite all interested to this meeting.
Oct. 13: Wakefield Country Day
School Fall Festival and Yaitl Sale
The public is invited to Wakefield Country Day School’s Annual Fall Festival on Saturday, Oct. 13 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the school grounds at 1059 Zachary Taylor Highway in Flint Hill. Wakefield classes and dubs will offer food and sponsor booths, games, and activities for all ages to raise money for various projects and field trips. Activities will include assorted children’s games, a moon bounce, face painting, and a cake walk. There will be fall plants for sale, along with assorted baked goods and hot and cold food. Bring your quarters, and prepare to spend several hours enjoying a beautiful fall day in the Shenandoah Valley, while at the same time giving to several good causes.
