BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
RAPPAHANNOCK COUNTY, VIRGINIA Pursuant to Section 170-129 of the Rappahannock County Code and Section 15.2-2204 of the 1950 Code of Virginia, as amended, notice is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors for Rappahannock County, Virginia, will hold a public hearing on Monday, November 5, 2007 at 7:00PM in the Courthouse in Washington. Virginia, in order to consider the following application:
SE 07-09-01 James W. Fletcher, III and others, owners of several tracts of land totaling approximately 800 acres located on or near Rt. 231, Sperry villa (Stonewall-Hawthome District, zoned AAgricultural and C-Conservation), desire a Special Exception permit for a conference canter or resort with overnight accommodations. The properties will also be used for a private shooting club. Use allowed pursuant to Code Section 170-36D of the Rappahannock County Code with additional standards under Code Section 170-65N.
A copy of the foregoing application is on file at the Zoning Office in Washington, Virginia, and is available for public inspection, Monday through Friday, 8:30AM to 4:30PM. Said application will be presented to the Rappahannock County Planning Commission at their regular meeting on Wednesday, October 17, 2007 at 7:30PM at the Rappahannock County Courthouse for such recommendation as the Commission may wish to make pursuant to Section 170-55, if any. The above-named applicant, adjacent property owners, and any other parties desiring to be heard should be present at said meeting or should address their written comments to the Board of Supervisors, c/o P.O.
