An in-home day care center is allowed six children pef one adult, depending 1 upon the ages of the children. We have one adult with a minimum of 14 students. Yet, they want to cut some teachers. If you look at the amount of students in each grade level from K-12, there are only two classes with low numbers — kindergarten and the 8th grade. The rest of the grades have between 63 and 88 students. I do not know about you, but I like the fact that my children are not in a classroom that has 21 - 29 students. That is what it would be if we only had three teachers in each grade level. I like that my children can have more one-on-one attention and that every teacher and aide knows my child by name, and not because he/she cannot behave.
Please do not take me wrong, I want to save money for the taxpayers, but cutting teachers and aides is not the way to do it. We have many
