The Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors unanimously approved Monday a measure to provide some tax relief for the county’s volunteer fire-and-rescue personnel.
Each volunteer will now be able to waive $300 of his or her personal-property tax burden for one personal vehicle.
Several fire-and-rescue volunteers were at the board’s public hearing to show their support for the tax-relief measure.
