Its amazing that Jerri is pulling all of this off. But she has had lots of support. She’s staying with her brother and his wife and they’ve helped take care of Maya. Her sister-in-law has been at every doctor’s appointment and sat with her in the hospital after her surgery. While they weren’t close before, (“She stole my baby brother!”) Jerri can’t say enough good things about her now.
And Jerri says that both of her employers have been wonderfully supportive. Everyone is constantly asking what they can do to help.
