Lady Katherine, as Lykes fondly calls her, observes that, “It is difficult when you are working with the natural landscape like the side of a mountain to get the full scope of the design from any one perspective.*
In order to help us envision the full sense of the gardens, she will share blueprints of the garden layout as well as information about the culture and nurturing of her favorite flowers, shrubs, and trees.
She is also quite dear that this presentation owes as much to Lykes’ skill as a photographer as it does to her skill as a gardener. Lykes’ ability to capture the places of particular beauty in this county is well known, and Katherine Bull’s gardens are among the treasures of the county.
