Motorcycle safety
Virginia Department of Transportation Administrator David Cubbage said he has met with representatives of the Virginia State Police and the Rappahannock County Sheriff’s Office in an effort to find ways to prevent motorcycle wrecks in the county.
VDOT has placed a message board on the side of US. 211 to warn motorcyclists of the dangers of the highway before it starts winding its way up the mountain to Shenandoah National Park.
