Tuesday night’s sheriffs forum brought out families, friends, foes and followers to listen to the three candidates for sheriff - Lt. Connie Smith, Sgt. J.C. Welch and Maj. Chris Williams. The crowd was calm. The questions were candid and the three candidates kept their cool. Election day is November 6.
