Before voting on a final version of the ordinances, the town council and the town planning commission must hold a hearing in which members of the public can voice opinion about proposed revisions. No date has yet been set for the public hearing. The town planning commission then would have to make a recommendation to the town council about what revisions the town council should adopt, and the council would then have an opportunity to vote on the changes.
The town council could vote on the revised historic guidelines as early as November.
