Golf Tournament

The $ 1,000,000 Panther Classic Golf Tournament will begin on Saturday, Oct 20, at 9 a. m. with a shot gun start, at Bowling Green C.C. (South Course) in Front Royal, Va. The format wM be a four person Scramble Captain's Choice. Hole in one prizes include: $1,000,000 (Paid out as a 40 year annuity) door prizes include dinner for two at The Inn at Little Washington and a Ford Focus, Courtesy of Rappahannock County National Bank and Shenandoah Ford, Trips and more. Lunch wi be provided by Burgers'n Things after the Tournament. Proceeds benefit the Rappahannock County School Sports Association. You may enter individually or as a team. Mark your calendar for The Rappahannock League for Environmental Protection’s Annual Meeting and party. This fun, once-a-year event is for the whole Rappahannock Community to come out and help RLEP celebrate another year of accomplishments. There will be good food by ECOW and good wine and beer plus home-made desserts, exhtoits, annual awards, brief comments on the year's activities and next year’s plans, and many of your friends in attendance. New Directors win be elected to the RLEP Board. There will be plenty of social time, opportunities to mix and discuss community issues with neighbors and Board members, and a short benefit auction that will include highly sought local artwork and a superb, operating 1950s AM/FM radio of space-age design, fully restored by the current President of RLEP. Everyone is welcome to attend and best of an, there is no charge for admission. See you at the Flint Hill Fire HaH at 7 p.m. Oct 26.
