For most of us it’s the changing of leaves that we associate with fall. Rappahannock is truly blessed for the beauty of fall foliage. But there are other signs that catch our attention as well. The hummingbirds have deserted their feeders in search for a warmer climate. The winter birds will soon be coming around. The squirrels are scampering so quickly, gathering up their acorns, for the winter. And the wooly worms are in a hurry, dressed in their winter wear. And for many of us, we are loading up on apples and getting our feeders ready for winter birds,
