Response signs for sale

Castleton Community Volunteer Fire Company will be selling 911 Reflective Emergency signs from 9-3 p.m. at Quickie Mart on Lee Highway. The cost is $15 and the signs can be made while you wait. "If we cant find you, we cant help you." The reflective numbers help emergency vehicles cut down their response time. 1 Oct. 14: Tax Credit Seminar

Rappahannock County Conservation Alliance (RCCA) is sponsoring a free seminar on the purchase and sale of Virginia Tax Credits on Sunday, Oct. 14, from 3-5 p.m. at the Washington Town Hall on 485 Gay Street. Anyone who pays Virginia taxes can lower their taxes by purchasing credits from landowners who have donated conservation easements.
