liff Miller’s Schoolhouse in Sperryville may be
undergoing an epiphany. If all goes according to Vy plan, the building will be used to house the county’s nonprofit organizations as well as be a venue for many community events .
County visionaries see it as a possible gateway to the Shenandoah and a Visitor’s Center. It’s to be named The Rappahannock Link
It’s about time.
Cliff has been very generous in letting numerous groups hold functions in the building that has once housed Kobe-beef burgers, an upscale market and, most recently, a restaurant and bar.
It’s the perfect location for something vibrant in* the county. There is ample parking and the rooms are large and inviting.
It is to Miller’s credit that he has waited for just the right venue for his Schoolhouse.
All along, he’s wanted it to be for, by and of the community and it appears through several months of patience and desire for something innovative and inspiring, that the time for the Schoolhouse has come.
