After having time to recover from the surgery, chemotherapy was next up. The chemotherapy mix of drugs varies for each patient. For Jerri, it includes Taxotere, Adriamycin and Cytoxan. There will be a total of six treatments, each of them three weeks apart. So far the big side effect has been exhaustion. Not that Jerri doesn’t have plenty of reasons to be exhausted without chemotherapy!
She’s a single mother to Maya, a four-year-old daughter who is her inspiration. She also holds down two jobs, one at Fauquier Medical Associates in Bealeton and one as a Pharmacy Tech at CVS in Warrenton.
