In response to Roger Cordani and Ron Frazier, I would like to invite them to make an appointment to spend a day at Rappahannock Elementary School. I would like them both to stay the whole day, from 8 a.m. to 3:40 p.m., with the kindergarten class that has 56 students or the first grade class that has 77 students. Go to breakfast with them. Then take them to the restrooms, out to the playground, back to the classroom. Watch them learn their lessons. Take them to lunch, to the restroom, back for lessons, handle a discipline problem, a temper tantrum, a crying fit, a loose tooth, a hurt knee, a potty accident. Oh my - there goes the fire bell - out the door they go. Handle a child who is crying because the bell hurt his ears. And all the while watching 14 - 20 other children, making sure they are okay.
