Several members of the audience said they have not yet decided who they will vote for on Nov. 6.
“I didn’t go in with a favorite,* said Joyce Andrews after the forum. *1 narrowed it down to two. I’m still thinking.”
The sheriff’s office budget was a main point of concern to several attendees.
“I think [the county] needs someone who’s going to watch the budget,” said Rob Dickey. Dickey didn’t go in with a favorite and still doesn’t know who he’ll vote for.
“The budget was a main concern to me,” said Clyde Humphrey. “I’m looking to clues as to how much the budget’s going to grow. I didn’t see a great difference on that.”
The Castleton man also said he has some more thinking to do before he decides who to vote for.
“I think we have three good candidates,” he said. “I haven’t made up my mind yet.”
