This past Monday, you came to Pellegatta’s to savor Ethiopian specialties and meet an extraordinary woman, Bertukan Kassa, an Ethiopian woman who has been in this country since July, 2005, and has been granted political asylum. Bertukan has applied for her husband and three daughters, ages 14,12, and 7, to come to the USA She hopes they will be with her in Rappahannock County by July of ’08.
