It was noted that despite the obvious success of the program, the class might be dropped next year due to scheduling and participation problems. School board member Ron Makela voiced his support for the program. “This particular class has a tremendous amount of merit,” he said. “Everything should be done to save it.” Gall explained that RCHS principal Raines was still exploring the issue. “It is still speculation at this point.”
Audit Committee
Bill Deal, safety coordinator, Mary Anne Biggs from the central office, Mike Tupper, RCHS, Richard Smith, RCES, Jeff Brown of DARE, and Susan McCarthy, representing the community-at-large, have been appointed to the School Safety/Audit Committee.
