can t say tor sure. 1 m not certain if the grass reacted to the mixture or to something else, but within a couple of days of the application, I had the thickest, greenest grass I had ever enjoyed at our current house. I was impressed, particularly because Baker says to use the cheapest stuff you can find for the ingredie nts. (I didn’t even know that Schlitz was still making beer.)
If you’re like me, you’ll agree that there’s nothing like a nice lawn. Whether one has a broad, sweeping expanse of green or a 10-foot-by- 10-foot square of turf in the back yard of a town house, a lawn evokes pleasant feelings.
Caring for the greensward is another matter. A lawn owner can do either hard work or easy chores on the grass, but a lawn responds best to a lot of attention. Take dethatching, for example.
