The committee wants to have 3,333 bags of trash picked up by April 18. They will pay citizens $3 per bag of roadside trash that they pick up. However, $2 worth of every bag will go Inward a designated cause. The remaining $1 per bag will go toward the bagger. Basically it is a chance for residents to clean up the county, help out worthy causes and make a little spending money. If 3,333 bags are not picked up there will still be money left on the table that might have helped someone. The clock stops when $10,000 is due the collectors, or on April 18, whichever comes first.
It works like this: Residents choose a road; then sign up at one of the designated sites and get information and VDOT trash bags there; pick up the trash, fill the bags (to the
