The Rappahannock County Fire Association is sponsoring an all-you-can-eat breakfast Saturday, March 21 from 7 to 11 a.m. at the Rappahannock Elementary School to benefit Sharon Scott. The cost for persons 11 years old or older is $6 and $3 for persons 10 years old or younger.

The community is invited to a gospel concert to be held at the Rappahannock County High School on Saturday, March 28 beginning at 6 p.m. Proceeds will benefit the Wayland Blue Ridge Baptist Center. Contact J. Rachel Aylor at 987-8739 for more information.

As many of you may recall, Cathy Lou Smith wrote the Amissville news column before passing the pen to me. Cathy Lou now serves on the Culpeper County’s School Board as the representative for the Jefferson District. She recently attended the Virginia School Board Association’s Legislative Conference in Richmond on Feb. 23 and 24.
