While the members of the Rappahannock Garden Club are busy making swags and wreaths to sell at Christmas, members of Cedar Run Garden Club are selling poinsettias to the community.
Francis Fauquier Garden Club, since 1979 has sponsored a biennial Warrenton Christmas House Tour featuring historic residences exquisitely decorated with greenery, blooming plants and ribbon for the holidays.
Spring heralds the most ambitious civic fundraising project of the Warrenton Garden Club and the Fauquier-Loudoun Garden Club, which sponsor in alternating years a tour of prominent homes and gardens throughout Fauquier County. Club members organize the creation of dozens of floral arrangements to set off the beauty of the home interiors, while nature, not always cooperatively, provides the abundance of bloom in the historic gardens outside.
