life and was retired from his gravel and lime business. He was a member of the Amissville United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Lavinia Yancey Barron, who was a former teacher in Rappahannock County Public Schools for 41 years, and his brother, T.C. Barron of Viewtown.
He is survived by his daughter and her husband, Deborah and Roger Flinchum of Viewtown; two grandsons Nathan Joseph Flinchum, a student at the College of William and Mary and Bruce Lloyd Flinchum of Viewtown.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, March 18 and were conducted by Rev. Phillip Bailey and Rev. Nancy White. Interment was in Hillcrest Memory Gardens, Jeffersonton.
