May was positive. She was sent to the University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville for surgery on July 9.
Miller underwent a complete hysterectomy and when the scans came back it was determined that it had not spread to her lymph glands. They got it all. And, it was not necessary for her to have chemotherapy.
