Nicole Hess of Amissville was a Friday overnight guest of Jennifer Peregory and on Saturday Jennifer’s father, Joe took the girls bowling in Warrenton in observance of Jennifer’s birthday.

Mr. and Mrs. Gregg Heflin spent the weekend in Manassas and lodged at Hampton Inn in observance of their wedding anniversary.

Miss Serena Waddell, a student at V.C.U. in Richmond and Miss. Kylene Wolfe of V.P.I. in Blacksburg spent last week on break here with their parents Mr. and Mrs. John Waddell and Mr. and Mrs. Tom Wolfe on Route 707.

Sympathy goes out to Mrs. Mollie Fincham upon the passing of her sister Mrs. Janie Streets, age 90 at Culpeper Hospital last Friday.

Saturday evening Mr. and Mrs. Jake Robinson and Timmy, Mr. and Mrs. Shelvy Frazier, Michael, Crystal, and Jacob Heflin, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Peregory, Joseph and Jennifer and Ray Wharton all dined at Golden Corral in Culpeper honoring Mr. Frazier and granddaughter Jennifer on the birthdays.

The monthly Singing and Pickin party at Salem Fire Hall was held Friday evening with a well filled house and being enjoyed by everyone present.

Congratulations are still being extended to Mr. and Mrs. Christopher Bowen down Castleton way upon the arrival of their little daughter Katlin Marie and to Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Nicholson of Reva route on the birth of their new daughter Lydia Renee.
