Elizabeth Bessie Sisk, 88, of Rixeyville died on Tuesday, March 10 at Oak Springs Nursing Home in Warrenton.
She was bom April 17, 1909 in Rappahannock to the late Johnson Strother Kilby and Robbie Pierce Kilby.
Mrs. Sisk is survived by one son Howell Franklin Sisk Jr. of Rixeyville; two sisters Mildred Rider of Warrenton and Robbie Wells of Alexandria and one brother Charlie Kilby of Calverton.
Additional survivors include two grandchildren Kenneth Ross Sisk of Ruckersville and Curtis Jeffrey Sisk of Florence, S.C. and three great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband Howell Franklin Sisk Jr.; four brothers and one sister.
Funeral services were held on Friday, March 13 at Found & Sons Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Marshall Braylo. Interment followed at Hillcrest Memory Gardens.

Robert B. Buntin Sr., 84, of Tampa, Fla. died Tuesday, Feb. 24 at home.
A native of South Boston, Va., he moved to Tampa in 1939.
He was a retired manager for Newman Oil Company, a Mason, Army veteran of World War II and member of the Palma Ceia Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his wife Maxine; a son Robert B. Buntin II of Monroeville, Ala.; a grandson Matthew Buntin; a daughter, Regina A. Reitz of Sausalito, Calif.; a brother, William Buntin of Washington, Va. and two sisters, Fannie Kamminga of Falls Church and Nancy Jennings of Danville.
Blount, Curry & Roel Funeral Homes in Tampa was in charge of the arrangements.

Nora Alice Fay Gallihugh Tinder, 63, of Culpeper died on Friday, March 13 at Mary Washington Hospital in F redericksburg.
Mrs. Tinder was bom in Orange County on Oct. 2, 1934 to the late Stanley Banks Gallihugh and Mary Effie Richards Gallihugh. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Tinder was preceded in death by her husband, the late Paul Bledsoe Tinder, as well as her parents.
