Faucet fix-up
Often a small, cheap washer is all you need to stop that drip that keeps you awake at night, adds to your water bill and stains the porcelain. First shut off the water valve under the sink. With a screwdriver, remove the faucet handle. Using a wrench, unscrew the packing nut and faucet stem. Remove the screw holding the worn washer located at the “seat” of the stem.
