Darrow Kirkpatrick,
contributing writer for the Rappahannock News, has written an attractive piece for the March 4 issue. It accurately reflects the material now being emphasized by the Christian Science Church concerning spiritual healing. As Mr. Kirkpatrick states, there has recently been strongly renewed interest in prayer for the sick in Christian churches. Extensive controlled experiments on spiritual healing have been conducted. Dr. Larry Dossey’s persuasive book, Prayer Is Good Medicine, documents many such studies.
