Linquist joins
Long and Foster
Amissville resident Jeff Linquist has been appointed as a sales associate at the Warrenton branch of Long and Foster Realtors.
Linquist, formerly with the U.S. Air Force stationed in West Germany, was most recently employed as a communications consultant with a Washington, D.C. area telecommunications firm.
Linquist was graduated from FAST START, an in-house training program of Long and Foster.

income increases
Income for the nine months ending Sept. 30 for F&M National Corporation was $2.9 million, or $1.47 per share.
Those figures are higher than the $2.1 million, or $1.09 per share, over the same period last year.
F&M National Corporation is the parent company of Farmers and Merchants National Bank, Massanutten Bank & Trust and the Suburban Bank.
