Extension Agent, Home Economics and 4-H Youth Rappahannock County, Position No. 298 Normal starting salary is $19,747 Position Responsibilities: Provide leadership for Extension educational programs in Home Economics and 4-H; provide leadership in recruiting, training, and development of volunteers; expand 4-H Educational Center development efforts; coordinate Extension Homemaker activities; assist staff in efforts to achieve balanced Extension programs and implementation of Civil Rights Compliance Plan; assist with other aspects of the total Extension program as determined by the Plan-of-Work, unit staff, and district staff. Preferred Qualifications; Experience in planning, implementing, and evaluating educational programs; ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing; leadership experience; work experience related to position responsibilities; Extension work experience is highly desirable; degree in Home Economics or related area is highly desirable.
