Only one voter is permitted in a voting machine at one time. However, children as old as age 12 can accompany their parent into the voting machine.
In other than primary and presidential elections, a voter may write in for any office the name of anyone whose name does not appear on the ballot.
Election officials have made provisions to help those who need assistance in the voting process.
Voters who are physically or “educationally” unable to vote may get the assistance of an election official. A blind voter may have anyone of their choice help them — although the person rendering the assistance must be under oath.
