First Baptist Church, of Washington, recently celebrated its 112th anniversary with three nights of service and all day services on Sunday. On Oct. 16, Rev. Clifton McDonald, of St. Stephen Baptist Church in Stevensburg, led services. On Oct. 17, Rev. Gillison Wanser, of Beulah Baptist Church in Markham and Oct. 18, a memorial service was conducted by the Rev. William Gibbs, of Providence Baptist Church in Orleans.
