“Last year was the first time Virginia students scored above the national average in all categories, and I want to build on Governor Robb’s education progress,” stressed Baliles.

Our collection efforts brought Virginia back more than $30 million. I would like to say to my opponents, if you run Washington like I ran the Attorney General’s Office, this country would be in better shape.”
“Today we have shown how to build for the future without big government,” Baliles stated. “There are ways to consolidate and improve efficiency and productivity both in the workplace and in government.”
In his Lake of the Woods speech, Baliles stressed his conservative background and the quality administration which he had brought to the Virginia Attorney General’s Office. In Culpeper he targeted education and agriculture.
