Everyone is invited to the polo game, today (Thursday), at 3:00 p.m., at the polo field on Rt. 618, near the Rt. 729 intersection and not far from the Laurel Mills store & the Thornton River. Rappahannock will be playing the British Army team. Hip. Hip. Let’s go and give them a big cheerio!!
Last Saturday’s birthday party has been postponed until this Saturday due to the flu. We are so sorry and will report on this next week.
Mr. and Mrs. Donald Fridenstine are having visitors for a few days this week, and they are Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Walsh (Don’s niece & her husband) and their three young daughters’ who hail from Avon, Ohio. The Walsh’s are on their way to Williamsburg, Va., for their vacation.
Mrs. Fridenstine made a “cookie drop” at Randolph Macon Academy in Front Royal, last Sunday to her grandchildren, David and Lynn. The whole dorm was happy to see her! Homemade cookies, yum!! Bet they all can’t wait to see Mrs. Fridenstine again!!
