Foxfield Fall Races' \
The seventh annual Foxfield races will beheld Saturday, Oct. 1.
This will actually be the 14th steeplechase meet for this course just outside Charlottesville as it also holds a meet in the spring.
The Foxfield races were started in May 1978 by Mia. Mariann Tejeda who donated the land in order to preserve it aa. a rural area with the intention that the profit from the races would go to benefit the Children’s Rehabilitation Center in Charlottesville.
