Dog License Tax Ordinance of Rappahannock County At 10:00 A.M. on October 1,1964, in the Courthouse building, Washington, Virginia, the Board of Supervisors tor Rappahannock County, Virginia shall propose for passage, and hold a public hearing with respect to a revision of the “Dog License Tax Ordinance for Rappahannock County, Virginia" which revision provides, in substance, as foHows: a. a license tax of $6.00 tor all dogs 6 months or older whose owners reside In Rappahannock County; provided, this tax shall not apply to any dog that Is trained and aeiyes as a guide dog tor a bind person, or that is trained and serves as a hearing dog for a deaf or hearing impaired person. b. A license tax of $15.00 for kennels of from 0 to 20 dogs. c. A license tax of $25.00 for kennels of from 21 to 50 dogs. d. A license tax of $40.00 for kennels of 51 dogs and over. The complete text of the revised Ordinance is available for public inspection at the Circuit Court Clerk's Office of Rappahannock County, Virginia in Washington, Virginia, and a copy ia posted on the bulletin board inside the Rappahannock County Courthouse.

Upon becoming effective, this Ordinance shall supercede and replace aN prior County ordtoances, or amendments thereto, concerning the dog license tax now provided for by Section 29-213.56 of the Code of Virginia, as amended.
