The unique and versatile style of The Talleys lends a fresh and exciting dimension to gospel music and they will be performing at the Culpeper Assembly of God on Chestnut Drive in Culpeper on Saturday, September 22 at 7 p.m.
The family consists of Kirk Talley, his brother, Roger and Roger’s wife, Debra. For the past ten years each have been singing and playing with nationally known groups but now they have joined forces to form the Talleys.
From 1974 to 1984, Roger was pianist and musical arranger for the Hopper Brothers and Connie. In 1983 he was a top five nominee for “Favorite Musician” in the Singing News Fan Awards. Roger has produced many albums for various artists.
Debra started her singing career in 1974 with the Songmasters. After her marriage to Roger, she joined the Hoppers. During her tenure with the Hoppers, she was nominated in 1980 and 1981 for “Queen of Gospel Music”.
