Chapter F.F.A. held its initial meeting for the coming school year September 9, 1959. The first order of business was the election of officers. The results of this election are as follows: President, Eugene Atkins; Vice-president, Jonas Jenkins; Secretary, Roger Anderson; Treasurer, Maurice Butler; Sentinel, Bobby Sealock; Reporter, James Bailey.
Miss Ann Dwyer, who has been Director of Nurses for the past five years at Gaza Baptist Hospital situated on the Gaza Strip which is five miles long and is the entire remains of Palestine, arrived at her home in Sperryville last Thursday for a year’s furlough.
Jimmie Clatterbuck, son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Clatterbuck of Washington, has recently been promoted to Airman First Class. He is stationed at Hill Air Force Base in Ogden, Utah.
