The bride’s mother wore a street length red dress with a flowered print. She wore a corsage of double white carnations.
The groom’s mother wore a street length blue dress. She, too, wore a corsage of double white carnations. The groom’s grandmother, Suzie Jenkins, wore a street length beige and white dress with a white jacket. She wore a single white carnation.
TKe' reception followed in the fellowship hall of the churirh immediately'following the ceremony.
The wedding cake was made by Dottie McCunchie of Culpeper and served by Lucy Martin, aunt of the groom. Gertie May, sister of the bride and Becky Wharton, aunt of the groom served the punch.
Shari Bradley of Manassas was the guest book attendant.
After a short honeymoon the couple is residing in Culpeper.
The bride is a self-employed beautician at The Family Hair Center in Culpeper and The Culpeper Health Care Center.
The groom is employed by Bingham and Taylor, Incorporated in Culpeper.
Prenupital showers were given by Susan Mullins, Audrey, Melissa and Phyliss Jenkins.
