Bessie Wilkinson

Mrs. Bessie Pearl Wilkinson, 49, of Front Royal, died Tuesday, September 11 in Winchester Medical Center.

Funeral services were conducted on Friday at Maddox Funeral Home in Front Royal by the Rev. J. Lowell Knauff. Burial was in the Washington Masonic Cemetery.

Mrs. Wilkinson was born November 14, 1934, in Flint Hill, a daughter of Nellie Atkins Dodson and the late Ellis C. Dodson. She was a member of Hope Lutheran Church in Annandale.

In addition to her mother, survivors include three daughters, Lucy Renee Wilkinson, at home, Rhonda Henderson of Front Royal and Robin Padgett of Evington; a brother, Clifton Dodson of Front Royal; three sisters, Ruth Dodson of Arlington, Jeanette Jenkins of Stephens City and Lucy Catlett of Strasburg and four grandchildren.
