A meeting of the 4-H Light

Horse and Pony Club was held Saturday, Sept. 13 at the home of the adult leader, Mrs. R.V. Snead. Officers for the coming year were elected as follows: President, Cil Davis; Vice president, Wendy Brown; Secretary, Libby Snead; Treasurer, Cassie Coates; Reporter, Susan Dodson and Song Leader, Maureen Day.

The annual meeting of the Rappahannock Unit of the American Cancer Society was held Monday evening. Mrs. James Massie, Treasurer, reported that the total amount collected during the 1969 campaign was $1,960.90.

Appreciation was expressed by Mrs. Ruth Johnson, Field Representative, to Mrs. Mary Van Brederode and her workers for their efforts in attaining the goal for Rappahannock County.
